Lakes Entrance is set for a big afternoon of fun on the foreshore as the much‑loved Duck Cup splashes back into action on Sunday 8 March 2026, as part of the Hooked On Lakes Seafood & Fishing Festival.

This event’s Duck Cup is extra special, with all funds raised going directly towards the Lakes Entrance New Year’s Eve Festival & Fireworks, organised by LEADA, helping light up the sky to celebrate the year ahead.

Event details:
•  Location: Lakes Entrance Foreshore
•  Date: Sunday 8 March 2026
•  Duck sponsorship sales: from 11am
•  Duck Cup race: 1pm start

Hundreds of bright yellow ducks will hit the water in a fast paced, highly entertaining race that’s fun for all ages. Sponsor a duck, cheer it on to the finish line and you could share in some great prizes:

Prizes:
•  First prize: $250 cash from NAB – National Australia Bank
•  Second prize: $150 cash from the Victorian Fisheries Authority, organisers of Hooked On Lakes.
•  Third prize: $50 cash from Victorian Fisheries Authority
•  Last duck prize!: $50 cash from Victorian Fisheries Authority
